Jude decided to roll from back to belly the other day and I, of course, missed it the first time. He's been trying for a while and just couldn't figure out what to do with his arm. I was in the kitchen and looked up to see what he was squealing about and he was on his belly!....and he was VERY proud of himself! Well last night when we got home, we practiced. I put him down and he did it immediately. He has it down now and went from suddenly deciding he was going to roll to inchworm/army crawling! I have a feeling I am soon going to be chasing him everywhere. I put his hippo that he picked out and Mamie bought for him in front of him and he was so excited about it that he rolled over, reached his arms up, pulled himself forward with the inchworm tactic and actually got to the hippo on his own. We tried to video it and of course, he would roll, but wasn't ready to demonstrate his inchworm skills yet. He says...one trick at a time, mom!
Please excuse the length of the video and the few spit ups in between....we were trying to get him to scoot for the camera after he rolled and he wasn't interested. He had worn himself out.
A couple extra NEW pictures :) even though they aren't the best. He really likes the "football" on his jumper--a sign of a future football player like his daddy? He has also figured out how to press the buttons to make the music play. It is amazing how quickly and how suddenly he is doing new things!
